Juan Eulogio Mendez

Juan Eulogia Mendez was born in Isabela, Puerto Rico to Antonia Martinez and Miguel Angel Mendez on July 15, 1935. He went to school at Isabela. He married Aurora Mendez on September 24, 1955 in New York City. He worked as a printer and taxi driver in New York City and helped manage his brother Poncho's grocery store on the neighborhood called Chelsea for years, and then worked as a security guard/doorman for Palm Bay Condominium for about 20 years.

Juan is preceded in death by spouse Aurora Mendez,  his parents Antonia and Miguel Mendez, son Mike Mendez, 4 brothers and 5 sisters.

Juan is survived by son Juan, Wilfredo and spouse Anita, daughter Ann and spouse Stefan, Nancy and spouse Frankie, daughter Aida, Aurora and spouse Angel, daughter Alice , son Raul and Antonio, sister Felicita , 34 Grandchildren and 28 Great- Grandchildren and sister-in-law Anita Justiz

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at 12:00PM on Monday, September 30th at St, Stephen protomartyr Catholic Church. Arrangements are by Ann Gerena and Fred Hunter's Funeral Home.
