Kathleen Scott Kohan

Kathy is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, John Kohan, daughter Marcy and Allen Sedwick, Basehor KS, son Michael Scott Kohan and Jessica Kohan, Tupper Lake, NY.as well as 5 grandchildren, sister-in law, Judy J. Mort and two nephews.

Kathy was born in Yonkers, NY February 2, 1948, the only child born to Herbert and Reva (Mann) Scott and married the love of her life, John M. Kohan, on November 26, 1965 Lackawanna, NY.

Kathy was most proud of being a Mother and found great satisfaction in her position as an Administrative Assistant for many years at Vassar College, Poughkeepsie, NY. She also had a strong religious faith and enjoyed attending mass and volunteering at St. Martin De Porres Church. When she and John moved to Plantation, they became communicants at St. Gregory The Great Catholic Church.

Kathy enjoyed her rose garden and had wonderful artistic ability in wedding cake design and oil painting.

Kathy will be most remembered for her selflessness and ability to make those around her feel loved and at ease. She will be forever in our hearts and thoughts.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 22nd at 10:00 A.M. at St. Gregory The Great Catholic Church, 200 North University Drive, Plantation. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.

Private interment will take place on Cape Cod, Massachusetts next summer.
