Kenneth John Lorenz Sr

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Fred Hunter’s Funeral Home in Hollywood, FL. The Visitation will be held at 2:00PM on April 6, 2023. The Celebration of Life will be at 3:00PM.  

Kenneth was born in New York City on August 9, 1941. He graduated high school in Corona NY.

Kenneth was married to Arlyne Lorenz and had been together for 43 years.

Kenneth owned and was President of Kenny’s Fleet Maintenance Inc. He worked and was in business in Long Island City, New York for over 50 years. He enjoyed shark fishing and had been an avid deer hunter in the mountains of NY. Since retiring his enjoyment came from spending time with his wife, his puppies, his family and friends.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Arlyne, his sister Janine, his sons Kenneth Jr., Robert, William and daughters Barbara, Tammy and Danielle. He leaves 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren as well as many extended nieces, nephews too many to name, and other family and friends.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his sister Nancy, brother Robert, brother Leroy and his parents Josephine and Robert Lorenz.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the Cancer Society. The family of Kenneth John Lorenz Sr. wishes to thank all the nurses of HCA Aventura Hospital and the Vitas Hospice care who went above and beyond in their care of him.
