This is the eulogy I gave at Ken's service. Ken was a son, a brother, a husband, a father, an uncle, a grandfather and my best friend for 47 years. However, Ken made all of us feel like we were his best friend. Ken was a musician. He played guitar and had a beautiful singing voice. There's a line in a song that makes me think of Ken, "People who need people are the luckiest people in the world". Ken was very lucky and so were we because Ken needed us. Ken could light up a room with his stories and jokes. Our laughter and warmth fed his soul and raised his spirits. Many of the stories and jokes I heard over and over again, but watching Ken soak up the laughter was well worth hearing them one more time. Ken had a tremendous since of humor. His self deprecating humor was some of his best. He once referred to himself as chuckles the clown. Ken wasn't afraid to tell a story on himself, because if it was funny it had to be told. One of my favorites took place at the Field restaurant and pub.******************* Ken and Gloria were spending an evening at the Field when Gloria decided she was ready to go home. Ken was still enjoying the evening but reluctantly left with Gloria. When Ken got home, he decided he wanted to go back to the Field. Being a truck driver for Publix, he was very conscious of DUI's. so he got on his bike an rode the five or six blocks back to the Field and continued his evening of conversation and beer. When Ken finally left and got on his bike, he realized that he couldn't ride it so he had to pushed his bike all the way home.**************** Ken had a gentle nature. He did not like conflict. There wasn't a mean or spiteful bone in his body. He loved people and people loved him. He loved his family. Over the years Ken said many times about Gloria "I would be lost without her". He also told me in the last three or four weeks "I love her dearly". Ken was good to so many people. In my humble effort to summarize who Ken was, I would say Ken was a good man. This is what I hope we all can take away from Ken's passing. Ken has left this world. It's as if he has walked into another room. But his memory is still with us. His memory is alive in us. So as long as any of us are alive Ken is still alive, only in a different way.

I am deeply sorry for your loss. In the the near future God promises us in Isaiah 25:8 death will be swallowed up forever and mourning will be no more.

I'll never forget my Uncle Kenny, he was a great man. He always made us all laugh, and will be dearly missed. I'm sorry, it is just too soon! He was my favorite uncle. Always smiling & telling jokes. He made me feel cared about when I was going through a hard time during my teens. I love you, Uncle Kenny!Aunt Gloria, Jennifer, Krista & Cindy- you were blessed with a great man to share your lives. I know it must be so hard for you now. I'm sorry for such a huge loss to your/our family. Uncle Kenny will forever hold a special place in my heart & many other's, too.

Dear Gloria, Jennifer, Christa and Cynthia, Donny and I are so sorry for your loss. We have thought about you all throughout the years and have fond memories of our times together way back when!! Ken always made us laugh! We were away when we heard the news or else we would have definitely made it to the service. You are all in our thoughts and prayers!Don and Alice McLaughlin

I'm very sorry for your loss. My sincere condolences goes out to family and friends. May the future promise found at John 5:28, 29 provide you a measure of comfort during this time of grief. We are assured that " All those in the memorial tombs will hear his (Jesus) voice and come out." Until this future promise is fulfilled may reflecting on it as well as the happy memories shared with your dear loved one comfort and strengthen you now and in the days ahead.

I always lovingly referred to Ken as my "little brudder", being seven years his senior. He and Gloria made a beautiful loving family; their three beautiful daughters their wonderful husbands and five delightful grandchildren. Ken was always the one who kept us laughing. It was hard to tell if he was telling you something that really happened, or if it was a joke! I miss you, Ken, but will always remember our happy times together, and the beautiful music you made.

We are so sorry for the loss of your beloved Kenneth amd our heartfelt condolences to family and friends.May the peace of God that surpasses all understanding guard your hearts and minds at this very difficult time. (Philippians 4:6,7)

WOW WOW, It is hard to believe that this man full of love for everyone, who had put so much joy in every one's hearth, is now gone from this earth. I have known him and his family for about 15 yrs. He was a good customer where I work, and he and his growing family became my dear friends. I wont never forget when he was telling me that he was to marry his 3 daughters within one year. He was so happy. I then told him; " Wait until the grand-children start to come" and he said; "Give me a little break" and we were laughing so much. Then very soon after he came at the restaurant and I learned that his very first grandchild will be born....He was so happy. I never saw him without his contagious smile. He lived and loved his family and friends so much. He had just retired about 2 years ago and was planning to have so much fun with that freedom of time, but his time has been so short. Your spirit and all the good memories of you will be forever with me. I'll see you again one day.Good friendship is forever. Love you, Ginette

So sad to hear the news of Kens passing today. I will never forget all the fun we had at Hollywood Beach and at work. Ken had a larger than life personality and I will always keep that with me.Im so happy that I got to spend our 25th Anniversary at Publix together were we spent the whole nite recalling all the old times and laughing, I was hoping to retire soon and sneak down and surprise Ken at his favorite spot on the beach,Like the song says I thought we'd get to see forever but forevers come today. its so hard to say goodbye to yesterday.So Rest in Peace in my Friend

God blessed me with the best father one could ask for. My dad was the most honest, loving, and kind hearted man. Everyone loved him who met him. I truly had the best dad in the world and love him forever. Thank you for all you have done for me. I couldn't be luckier to have you as my father. I will cherish all the memories I have together with family but mostly the ones you and I shared. I know you are joking and singing in heaven. When I hear the song "The leader of the band", I have always thought of you. I LOVE YOU! I will see you again. I'm your Lamb chop. XOXO.....
