Larry was born in Colfax, Iowa June 24, 1942. Larry moved from Iowa to Hollywood, FL at the age of 19 and remained in Florida for the rest of his life. For more than 60 years, he was the proud owner of Van Dee Fulfillment, one of the largest warehousing/fulfillment operations in the state, along with other various businesses. Larry was the ideal entrepreneur, understanding the needs of both people and business.
He sincerely believed in giving back to community and was actively involved in the local Chamber(s) of Commerce, serving on the Board of Winterfest for 40 years, Broward Health Community Relations Council, SFIMA, and numerous others.
Larry was married to Gail Gravlee of Atlanta, GA and they recently celebrated their 25th anniversary. He is survived by wife Gail, son Larry, Jr (Louise), grandson Andrew (Savannah), son Loren (Cheryl) and grandson Lucas.
A Celebration of Life honoring the contributions and memory of Larry Van Dusseldorp will be held at Fred Hunter’s Community Center, 6301 Taft Street. Hollywood, FL on June 06, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
