

The funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 22nd at Fred Hunter Funeral Home. Pastor Rey Cruz of New Testament Baptist Church will be officiating. Visitation will be held between 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 22 at Fred Hunter Funeral Home. Burial will be at Hollywood Memorial Gardens Cemetery on Tuesday, November 23 at 10:00 a.m. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Fred Hunter Funeral Home.
Leroy Dierking was born in Chicago, Illinois on May 23, 1933 to Leroy Dierking, Sr. (father) and Mildred (Heinlein) Dierking (Mother). He graduated from Rosevelt Military Academy in Aledo, Illinois where he was very athletic in football, tract and basketball. Aledo Illinois has a museum memorializing some of his, and his twin brother, Leonard’s accomplishments. After graduating from high school, he continued on to the Army Security Agency School where he was trained as a Morse Code Interceptor and then served in the Koren War for three years.
Leroy was married to Mildred (Coleman) Dierking in May of 1958 and were married 61 years.
Leroy worked in weight and balance for Pan American Airlines for 30 years and then went on to work for Publix for over fifteen years. He accepted Christ as his Savior through a televised Billy Graham Crusade and then starting attending North Palm Baptist Church with his family. He liked to play the organ in church from time to time.
Leroy is survived by Mildred (wife), Children: Ellen, Margie, Laura, Lee, and Dee Dee, Grandchildren: Bryan, Eric, Michelle, Andrew, Nicole, Jennifer, Jodi, Joseph, Kayla, Crystal, Christopher, Samantha and Cameron. Great Grandchildren: Eric Jr., Makayla, William, Jonathan, Panteleimon, Daniel, Cailey, Emily, Ciara, Alyssa, and Ava and other family and friends.
Leroy is preceded in death by Mildred (mother), Leroy, Sr. (father), Shirley (sister) and twin brother, Leonard.
