Shires, Lotti "Lala," age 93, of Fort Lauderdale, passed away January 24, 2013. Lotti is survived by her daughters, Carol Rose, Cindy Salcedo (Ray), and Caryn Hope; granddaughter, Amy Stendal (Chad); great-grandchildren, Autumn, Caleb, and Christian Stendal; and sister, Laura Hawald. She is preceded in death by her sister, Betty Dennis; husbands, Al Shires and Joseph Renkel; and parents, Marta and William Osterwind. She was a member of the German Club. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Gold Coast Home Health, 210 W. Commercial Blvd. Suite 4500, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309. A gathering will be held on Friday, February 1, 2013 at 4pm, followed by a service at 5pm at Fred Hunter Funeral Home in Fort Lauderdale.
