Louis Roswell Webster of Parkland, Florida also known as Chookor Raw passed away on May 1, 2022 at the age of 87.The funeral service will be held at 11am on May 19, 2022 at FredHunters Funeral Home. Burial will follow the funeral at HollywoodMemorial Gardens North at 12:30pm. Pastor Frankie Walls ofTrinity Church Of God In Christ will be officiating. Visitation will beheld on May 18, 2022 from 5pm to 8pm at Fred Hunters FuneralHome.Louis was born in Anguilla, British West Indies on December 7,1934. Upon graduating high school, he started his career on thehigh seas as a Sailor. He later went on to work in the constructionindustry as a carpenter and painter.Louis married Edith J.A. Fleming on July 30, 1960, and fivechildren were born from that union.Louis relocated to Florida after his retirement to enjoy more timewith his children and grandchildren. He was a quiet man whoenjoyed going to church. He also enjoyed fishing, sailing,watching boxing matches and playing dominos.Louis is survived by sons, Terry and Dorn Webster, Daughter, IlissBrown, Son-in-law, Jerry Brown, Daughter in law, Sandra JonesWebster, Grandchildren, Tami Alejandro Telemaque, Cherise andAshlynn Brown, James and Celestelle Webster, Greatgrandchildren; Jasiah and Isaiah Godfrey, Mancinni, Jr. and JaceTelemaque and Zenairo Webster; Brothers, Raymond Webster,Calvin Bryan, Foster Webster; Sisters, Edris Lindesay, RuthFleming, Celestine Connor, Bernadine Connor, Yvette Webster,Nyris Webster, Muriel Richardson, Zulma Webster, Ivy Connorand Althea Lloyd, a special nephew Roderick Webster and hisspouse Dora who cared for him in his time of need; Many nieces,nephews, cousins and friends, too numerous to mention.Louis is preceded in death by sons, Churvin and Chect Webster,Sisters, Eileen Fleming and Juliette Williamsburg, brothers,Edison and Hugo Webster.The family of Louis Roswell Webster wishes to thank the staff andDoctors of Broward Nursing & Rehabilitation Center for their yearsof medical care for our beloved Dad during his years at the facility.We are eternally grateful and appreciative.
