Louise P Gott

Louise (Priddy) Gott, 77,of Tamarac passed away on Monday, October 14, 2013 surrounded by her loving family after a valiant battle with cancer. She was a South Florida Resident for the past 52 years, coming from Solomons, Maryland. Louise met this latest challenge as she did every other with faith, strength, grace, and dignity. Louise was the adored wife and best friend to George Gott, and proud caring mother to Duane Aubrey Gott, Shawn Christian Gott and Aimee (Gott) Rice. Louise is survived by her husband (George) of 52 years, three children (Duane, Shawn, Aimee), five granddaughters (Amanda, Haley, Sarah, Hannah Grace, Samantha Christiana), as well as two brothers (James Allen Priddy, Robert Lee Priddy) from Maryland. She was preceded in death by her brother, William, her sister, Corrine and parents Irene and William E Priddy. Louise served many years as a volunteer at Broward Health Coral Springs Medical Center, All Saints Lutheran Church Rainbow Team, Initiator of the Tough Love program in Coral Springs and The American Red Cross. She also supported Chemo Angels and the Wounded Warrior Project. She taught elementary and middle school in Broward County until her retirement in 1994. She will always be remembered for her unconditional love of family and friends, and her kind hearted positive spirit. A memorial service will be held at All Saints Lutheran Church, Tamarac, on October 19, 2013 at 2:30pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to All Saints Lutheran Church of Tamarac.
