

Born in Italy on April 29, 1921, Lucy was the daughter of the late David and Rosa (Camela) Spinelli. On December 23, 1943 she married Harold "Honey" Walmsley, with whom she celebrated 46 years with until his passing in 1989. A devoted matriarch, Lucy cherished every moment spent with her loved ones and has left many loving memories in their hearts. Lucy was a member of the Women of the Moose 919, and was a long standing member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church.
Lucy is survived by her sons; James David Walmsley, and Dennis H. Walmsley and his special friend Deborah Wilkinson. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Jamie Walmsley and his wife Shannon, Jessica Rose and her husband Steve, and Shaun Walmsley and his wife Kristine. Special friend and daughter-in-law for many years Denise Walmsley; great-grandchildren, Channing, Nolan and Callie Walmsley; her sisters, Amy Klopsic, Lana Ficerai and Jean Michalak; her brothers, James Spinelli and Amos Spinelli, and many nieces, nephews . She was predeceased by her daughter-in-law Donna Walmsley, brother; Dominic Spinelli and her sister Sadie Pati; special friend of many years, Bob Tullio.
The family is grateful to the staff at Hillcrest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and Hospice for their compassionate kindness and concern.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Lucy's memorial service which will commence on Friday, afternoon at 12:00 at the Fred Hunter Funeral Home, Hollywood Chapel, officiated by the Rev. Gilbert Hepburn. In lieu of floral offerings, kindly consider donation's to the Recreation Department at the Hillcrest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center C/O Mark During, Director of Recreational Services in Lucy's memory.
