Marie Beauvais

Marie Archin Beauvais was born October 31, 1923 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. She professed Christ as a young girl and was baptized at her childhood church in Haiti. She attended the Epworth United Methodist Church in Pembroke Pines, Florida and enjoyed being a member of her church family there for many years.

Marie loved life and lived it to its fullest, exploring the world by engaging people she never met as though she had known them forever. She loved music, arts and crafts, sculpting, and flowers. Some of her favorite hobbies were embroidery, knitting and sewing. Marie had a lifelong love affair with crossword puzzles and enjoyed traveling. She was a wonderful cook, and most of all she loved her daughter, Danielle and grandson, Alix, who were both her pride and joy.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Marie Hogarth-Archin, her father Gaston Archin, and her brother Franck Archin.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her only child and loving daughter, Danielle Karine Beauvais Montes (Terence L. Bolden), Miami, Florida (residing in the Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates), her grandson, Alix Montes of Washington, D.C.; her sister, Gyselle Archin Macombe Sacco, and her niece, Micheline Gyselle Wolff, whom she loved as her own daughter. Other family members left to celebrate her home going are: great-nephew and godson, Randolph Patrick Wolff, Bangkok, Thailand; great-niece, Chantal Gulaine Wolff Osborne, Pembroke Pines; great great-nephew, Christian Andrew Osborne; great great-niece, Hannah Ava Ruiz, both of whom she lovingly took care of on numerous occasions.
