Marie was born in Richland, Mansfield Ohio USA on April 29, 1926 to her parents John and Katie Gazdak. She was so proud of her Romanian roots.
Marie was married to Nick Drago (Deceased) who was a member of the Tune Toppers musicians whose recordings and performances were popular.
Marie worked at Corkey’s of North Miami Beach from 1974 till 2005. Made lifelong friends and adventures.
Marie was loved for her wit, style, kindness and generosity. She is survived by her loved nieces, nephews and friends that are family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday December 18, 2025 from 6 to 8 at Fred Hunter Funeral Home 6301 Taft Street Hollywood FL 33024
Funeral Mass celebrated Friday December 19, 2025 11 am at Nativity Catholic Church 5220 Johnson Street Hollywood FL 33024. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery North 60th Avenue Hollywood FL 33024.
