

Mark was born in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, England on September 10, 1957. He was married to Carrie Petty on May 25, 1985.
Mark is survived by his wife, two daughters, Jennifer Lindsey Brownhill and Stephanie Elizabeth Morris, and two grandsons, Owen Alexander Morris (8) and Gavin Derby Morris (7) as well as his mother, Monica Richardson Brownhill, his sister Corinne Harvey and brother John Brownhill.
Mark is preceded in death by his father, John Barry Brownhill, and his brother, Gary Brownhill.
Mark started his working life as an apprentice with Jaguar cars. He went to school part time at Lancaster Polytechnic to earn a degree in Electrical Engineering but had a passion for learning that lasted his whole life. Mark spent most of his career working in industrial automation at General Electric, which was later GE Fanuc, and later Fanuc America Automation, with an eleven-year break at U.S. Amada in Buena Park, California.
Mark had many hobbies but was particularly passionate about sailing his Prout Manta 38 catamaran, traveling and camping in his travel trailer. Some of his greatest joy came from helping his family with construction projects and playing the guitar. He loved building Legos, with his grandkids, making t-shirts, watching sports, and cooking.
