

On Wednesday, September 9, 2020, Mark Hall, loving husband and father of two children and nine grandchildren, passed away at the age of 65. Mark was born on February 2, 1955 in Tallassee, Alabama to Edward and Nita Hall. He worked in the Construction industry for 43 years and had a hand in building many of the high-rise buildings along the downtown and Miami Beach skyline. On August 16, 1979, he married Debora Chenault. They raised two children, Joshua and Mondray.
Mark had an undying passion for the Lord. He witnessed to many coworkers that ordinary men would not even dare approach. He was rough and callous on the outside but had a tender heart for those he knew were lost in a dying world. With great courage he told them about Christ and His sacrifice on the cross. He made multiple trips to Haiti with his father-in-law, Webb, to love and care for the Haitian orphans. He also loved Lionel model trains, searching for arrowheads and Indian artifacts, and exploring the West.
Mark was preceded in death by his father, Edward, his father-in-law Webb, and his brother, Michael. He is survived by his wife, Debora, his two children, Joshua and Mondray and nine grandchildren, his mother, Nita, his brother, Matthew, his mother-in-law, Cassie, and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 17th, 2020 at Calvary Chapel – Plantation Campus on 11801 W Broward Blvd at 10 A.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to support the orphans in Haiti of the Webb D. Chenault Ministry. Donations may be sent to 5222 SW 115th Terrace, Cooper City, FL, 33330.
