

Marlyne was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti to Sonia and Arsene on April 15, 1963. She went to school at Frank H Morrell High in Irvington, New Jersey. She attended Union College. She was self-employed and worked as a tax preparer for 30 years.
Marlyne is preceded in death by her Granson, Kaden Wah, Brother-in-law, Francis Savage and Father, Arsene Laventure.
Marlyne is survived by her mother, Sonia. Her 3 children; Priscilla, Ashley, and Claudia. Her brothers and sisters; Jimmy, Judyth, Rony, and Mona. As well as her grandchildren; Chloe, Kailyn, Kadence, and Zayne.
Marlyne was the cornerstone of her family, providing unwavering support and guidance to her loved ones. She had a love for tradition and made her home the place where all would gather. Her resilience, compassion, and willingness to serve is what made her the heart of her family and she will always be remembered by all the hearts she touched.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at 11:00a on Friday, January 9th at 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood, FL 33024. Arrangements are by Fred Hunter’s Funeral Home.
The family of Marlyne wishes to extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who reached out, prayed for us or supported our family during this time of loss. Our hearts are heavy, but the love and support received from all of you has been a blessing. Your kindness and thoughtfulness brought much comfort when we needed it most and we are truly grateful.
