

Mary was born in Bogota, Colombia to Natividad Rodriguez and Constantino Ponce on May 28, 1939. She was married to Norberto Ditto.
Mary was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and faithful Catholic. Two things that brought Mary the most pleasure were caring for her animals as well as cooking amazing meals for her family. She possessed a tremendous work ethic and was utterly selfless. Mary was the sweetest person that has ever walked this earth.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Lisa Popps, siblings Claudia Ponce, Nati Rivas, Alfonso Ponce, and her nephew Manuel Ponce.
Mary is survived by her daughter Sandra Caviness and husband Mike; son David Ditto; and grandchildren Nikko and Dylan Bassett; Jessica Popps; Ryan, Lindsay, and Blake Caviness; Peter and Christian Ditto; Tyler Lopez; sisters Ines Cortes and Ana Gillis, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. with visitation at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 17th at Fred Hunter's Funeral Home - 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood, FL. Burial will immediately follow at Hollywood Memorial Gardens North.
Our family wishes to extend our sincerest gratitude to all of the wonderful nurses, nursing assistants, and staff at Pruitt Health-Brookhaven. They were our angels here on earth for over 15 years.
