Mary Marrone was born in New York City on April 18, 1914 to Francesco and Francesca Pisello. She grew up in Sicily, and as a young girl of 14 years old came to live in Garfield, N.J. with her sister Carmella (Milly). Life was sad for her in those years, separated from her mother and father, two bothers and two sisters. She lived with different family members, but then she went to live with Aunt Rose and Uncle Sam Benante. They had 4 children, 3 boys and 1 girl that was her age. Those were happy, fun years for Mary and her cousin Sarah. In her early 20's she met Louis Marrone at a church dance and they were happily married. Their first child was Vivian, second was Ronald
and then Dennis. Married almost 65 years when Louis died at the age of 88 years old, and on May 28th, 2012, at the age of 98, Mary went into the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. We her family, are so thankful for all the wonderful, happy memories. We will miss her but look forward to our reunion with her one day. One brother, Joseph Pisello, who lives in Garfield, N.J., has survived her as well as her 3 children, 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren.
