He was born on August 9, 1931 in Skeldon, Berbice, Guyana and was popularly known as Azore. Mohamed retired as an Associate with Publix Supermarkets, but was an Engineer by profession and served in the Sugar Industry in Guyana for many many years.
Azore leaves behind his wife Jugni; daughters Gene, Peggy, Tulsi, Mattie, Radica, Romona & Sunita; Sons, Paul & Mike, Daughters-in-Law Nadira & Jaya; Sons-in-Law Josh, Robin, Dias & Rev; fourteen grandchildren, great grand-son Nathan, and sisters Zainool, Bebi and Shamrul.
Azore loved travelling and reading stories about cowboys, his most loved author Louis Lamour. He truly enjoyed sharing stories of all his travels and had the greatest satisfaction encouraging everyone to go places.
The Funeral service for Mohamed Azore Sukhram will be held at Fred Hunters Funeral Home, 2401 S. University Drive, Davie 33324, on Sunday April 3, 2011 at 3:00pm, viewing & family & friends time is at 1:00 - 3:00pm.
