Morty was an army veteran, who served his country in the Korean War. An adventurous man who liked flying and boating. A wonderful husband and father who loved and cherished his family.
He is survived by his loving wife Carol McKenna, sons Larry (Diane) McKenna of Holbrook NY, Marty McKenna of Las Vegas NV, Dennis Freemyer of Sunrise FL, daughters Lori McKenna of Houston TX & Nanci (Paul) Bange of Cooper City FL.
12 adoring grandchildren who were the light of his life. Brenda (Wil) Bange, David (Megan) Bange, Dennis (Sarah) Freemyer, Brian McKenna, Michael Brakefield, Steven Mckenna, Megan (Joe) Polito, Karey (Tim) Donovan, Michael (Kendall) Bange, Joe McKenna, Sara (Saul) Freemyer, Jason McKenna. And, 3 beautiful great grandchildren. Taylor, David Jr. & Seyla
Morty, is also survived by brother Thomas and his 3 children Tommy, Dawn & Michael
A visitation will be held on Saturday April 6, 2019 at Fred Hunters Funeral Home located at 6301 Taft Street Hollywood, FL 33024 from 2:00 - 5:00 PM. The funeral service will begin at 5:00PM following the visitation.
