

Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts on May 18, 1927, daughter of John T. and Mae A. (Lonegan) Stone. She was raised and educated in Concord, Massachusetts. In her earlier years, Muriel worked for New England Bell Phone Company for many years. In 1949 she married Elliott Robert Piper and moved to Littleton, MA. She and her family came to Florida in 1955 settling in Davie. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She liked to take cruises, trips to Las Vegas and enjoyed playing bingo.
Survived by three loving children, Bob (Amy) Piper, Charlotte (Richard) Osgood and David (Connie) Piper, five devoted grandchildren, Chris (Amy) Piper, Bryan Piper, Shawn Piper, Stacey Osgood and Laken (Philip) Hatch two great grandchildren, Logan and Madison Piper and soon to be born, Sean Hatch, brother Howard Stone. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 41 years Elliott Robert Piper, brother John Stone and sister Dorothy Ashman.
A Memorial Gathering to Celebrate Muriel's Life will be held on Saturday, September 15th from 11:00 A.M. with a service beginning at 1:30 P.M. at Fred Hunter's University Drive Home 2401 South University Drive, Davie. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Muriel M. Piper may be made to Vitas Hospice Charitable Fund, 5420 NW 33rd Avenue, Suite 100, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33309.
