Ned was born in Greenville Ohio on October 3, 1942. He was born prematurely and weighing in at only 2 pounds. His father built an incubator for him at home and by the age of one years old he weighed in at 32 pounds! At the age of four, Ned contracted polio and his parents were told that he would never walk again. Well, that did not turn out to be true. Not only did he walk again, he required no use of braces on his legs or assistive devices.

Throughout his years and business he continued to climb the ladder in the news print business. His hobbies were carpentry, woodworking.
He is survived by his children Brenda (Dr. Joy),Dean (Denise),Krissy (Travis),Vernon and Marie.
His grandchildren Michele, Chelsea (her husband Sergio), Sergio, Andrew ( Michele),Kevin, Shawn (Risha) and Ryan. His great grand children Chase and Chance (twins). Is niece and nephews Mark, David and Lori Ann.
