

Nicholas J. Siemasz, 83, of Fort Myers, FL passed away October 24, 2015. Nicholas has been a resident of South Florida for the past 56 years, coming from Detroit, Michigan. He was a long time parishioner of the Church of the Resurrection.
He is survived by his daughters; Tina Culver (Kip LaCkore), Martha Robinson (Russell Robinson), and Sandra Rumeliotis (Tasso Rumeliotis), his grandchildren; Danielle Lerch, Christopher Culver, Ryan Robinson, Rylee Robinson and Sammy Culver.
He was preceded in death by Jane Siemasz.
Today we lost a dear father, loving grandfather and a baseball legend.
Nicholas "Greek" Siemasz was a well-known, highly respected college and high school baseball coach both nationally and in the Miami Dade, Broward and Ft. Myers areas.
He was an assistant coach for 12 years at the powerhouse Miami Dade North baseball program, which was recognized as one of the top collegiate programs in the country.
He coached for 38 years in the prestigious Cape Cod Summer Baseball League, having coached and mentored many former and current Major League baseball players.
He was inducted into the Cape Cod Baseball League Hall of Fame in 2013 and was recognized for his many years of service and contribution to the success of the league.
He was a dedicated family man, baseball extraordinaire and a man of great faith whom was dearly loved by his family and will be forever missed.
He walks in peace with the Lord. Amen.
In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests that donations be made in memory of Nicholas "Greek" Siemasz to Joe DiMaggio Children Hospital Foundation.
A Mass to Celebrate Dad's life, will be held at Saint David's Catholic Church on Saturday, Oct 31st at 1:00 pm - 3900 South University Drive, Davie, FL 33328.
