

He was born to the late Nick and Angelina Naples, on April 24th, 1937, in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania and graduated from Coraopolis High School in 1955 and served in the United States Marine Corps from 1955-1958, when he was honorably discharged. He married Annette Stango in 1959, and they lived together in Pittsburgh, Pa., before relocating to Miami in 1960.
Nick worked for the Eastman Kodak Company from 1963 until retiring in 1990. Shortly thereafter beginning another career with Springs Window Fashions and then retiring from that career in the early 2000s.
A dedicated husband, father and friend as well as a friend to all animals, great and small, Nick had a passion for life that continued until just this past Tuesday. The consummate sports fan, the chess player, the gambler, the reader, the political analyst, the jokester, the arm chair philosopher, Nick was a man of many interests and a zest for life. He brought joy to any conversation, and always left you thinking with a smile on your face. He will be sorely missed.
Nick is survived by his wife Annette Naples, and their three children: Diana Sterner of Boca Raton, Nick Naples III of Ft. Lauderdale; and Brian Naples of Jacksonville, Fl . He also is survived by 3 grandchildren, Christopher Campo, Anthony Naples, and Lucille Naples, as well as his cairn terrier and best friend, Charlie.
A service will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday at Fred Hunter Funeral Home in Davie Florida.
