Philip was born in Brooklyn, NY on June 13, 1925. He served in the Navy during World War II and saw action at Pearl Harbor, the beaches of Normandy and several other naval theaters. After the war, Philip became a meat cutter and worked for several large chain grocery stores in the meat department. He was an avid fisherman and golfer. Philip was married for 71 years to his great love, Jennie Monaco.
Philip is survived by his wife Jennie and their three children: Jeanette Hartenstine and her husband Dennis, Vincent Licari and his wife Pat, Philip Licari and his wife Nancy; grandchildren Rob, Dawn, Chad, Dana, Michelle, Jessica, Rachael and Sara; great grandchildren Christian, Rueben, Derrick and Brody in addition to a brother, Anthony Licari.
