Forte, Ralph A., 90, of Ft. Lauderdale, formerly of Puerto Rico, passed away on Monday, July 22, 2013 at Ft. Lauderdale Health and Rehabilitation Center (Vitas Hospice). He was born April 26, 1923 in Rochester, NY to the parents of Lorenzo and Mary (Bufano) Forte. A retired Major of the United States Air Force, Ralph is survived by his son, Lawrence Ralph "Larry" Harrigan of Centreville, VA; brother Joseph R. (Arlene) Forte of Ft. Lauderdale, 3 granddaughters Kelly A. Harrigan of Richmond, VA, Karey M. Harrigan and Ashley L. Harrigan both of Manassas, VA; nephews Paul Forte and Lawrence (Mickey) Forte. The family will receive friends in the funeral home on Thursday, August 1, 2013 from 6 to 8 pm with a prayer service at 7:30 pm. Military Honors will take place at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery.
