Richard was born in Hokendauqua, PA to Dr. Carl & Norma Newhart on July 13th, 1933. He married Constance on February 25th, 1956 in Hokendauqua, PA.
Richard is preceded in death by Parents Dr. Carl & Norma Newhart, Sister Mona Otello and Brothers Vincent, Edgar, and Carl.
Richard is survived by wife Constance (Keener); Daughter Linda, wife of Frank Bartus Jr. of West Palm Beach, FL; Daughter Carol, wife of Steve Bartholomew of Girdwood, AK; Granddaughter Sarah of Girdwood, AK.
