Rita Quinton, 86, formerly of Plantation, Florida passed away April 5, 2015. She was born October 10, 1928, in Brooklyn, New York and was a Municipal Court Clerk in Lakehurst, New Jersey for many years. In addition to being a loving and devoted wife and mother, Rita was a published author.
Survivors include her children, Timothy R. Quinton (wife, Susan), Donna Q. Brown (husband, John), Michael E. Quinton (wife, Patti), Joanne Q. Heinrich (husband, David) and Rita H. Quinton (fiance, Glenn Senseny); and her grandchildren, Shannon Brown, Alexander Brown, Taylor Brown, Michael Quinton, Daniel Quinton, Alyssa Quinton, Rachel Quinton and Kyle Andersch.
Rita was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Russell E. Quinton and her brother, Edwin Beumer.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. Thursday, April 9, 2015, at Fred Hunter's Lighthouse Point Funeral Home, 4650 North Federal Highway, Lighthouse Point, FL 33064.
The committal service will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 10, 2015, at the South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 State Road 7, Lake Worth, FL 33449.
Committal services will include Mrs. Quinton's late husband, Russell E. Quinton and the rendering of Military Honors.
