Born in 1947, Robert served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He loved tennis, and was an accomplished player in his youth. In 1994 he married his wife Linda, with whom he owned and managed an apartment building in Hollywood, FL.
Known to friends in his hometown of Chicago as Boe, Robert will be remembered for his ability to make friends in any situation. Anyone who knew him can attest to his boisterous personality and ability to command the center of attention in any room. As the only child of Ukrainian immigrants and as an Army veteran, Robert was unflinchingly patriotic and could always be seen displaying his pride in the United States by flying flags on his home and car. This pride extended to his hometown in his love and support for the Chicago Bears and Bulls, and in his nickname, "Chicago," given to him by friends in Florida.
Robert will be held in loving memory by his wife, Linda, his children, Brigett, David and Bernadett, his grandchildren, Alex, Jacob, Justice and Jaden and his best friends, Butch and Wally.
