Robert "Rob" Dennis Gianantonio Jr., 53, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. passed away suddenly of heart failure on July 12, 2018. Rob was born in NJ and raised in Miami. Left to treasure his memories are his mother, Marilyn Tatman; father, Robert (Roxana) Gianantonio; Son, Bobby Gianantonio; Daughter, Lena Trento; siblings, Robin (Glenn) Blakeman, Tathiana (Arturo) Priano-Dulanto, Alan Alvarez, Lorie (Manny) Gelabert, Keith (Celia) Tatman, Warren (Toni) Tatman, and Bruce (Cherie) Tatman; Aunt, Marie (Gary) Robulock; Nephew John (Debbie) Schaefer; and Niece, Jennifer (Nathan) Smith.
Rob was a very loving and kind man who greeted everyone with a welcoming smile. He was an excellent plumber for 25+ years. He was passionate about baseball (Go Marlins!) and football (Go Fins!). In his free time, Rob also enjoyed biking, boating, skiing, fishing, camping, and going to concerts.
Family will receive friends Thursday, July 19, 2018 from 3:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Fred Hunter's Funeral Home, 2401 S. University Drive, Davie FL. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, July 20, 2018 at St. David Catholic Church in Davie, with Christian burial to follow at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Cemetery in Doral.
