Robert James “Bobby” Hanley passed peacefully on the morning of July 27th. He has been surrounded by his friends and loved ones since coming home from the hospital on July 5th. Bobby was a loyal and giving man that would set aside his cares and worries to help others. He enjoyed NASCAR, the beach and ocean, gardening, music, baking, and target shooting. He loved his family deeply and enjoyed bringing joy to others. This was especially so during the holidays when he would play Santa Claus for many children, including children in the hospital. He was strong, strong-willed, and loved a good laugh. He loved and leaves behind his wife Diane, and daughters Barbara and Kristina, son-in-law Jason, and his grandchildren Julia, Matthew, J, and Kaylin. He loved being a grandfather and his favorite times were when he could see all of his family together. We will all miss him, his stories, and his genuine laughter.
