Robert Shay, 85 of Hallandale Florida passed away on October 25, 2020, after a short battle with cancer. He passed at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Wheeling West Va. and a resident of South Florida for 56 years.
He is survived by his daughters: Lisa Saxon (Raleigh), Lynn Orsini (Ronald), Lori Ketterman (Randy), and 7 grandchildren: Rayna, Taylor, Tim, Colton, Kennedy, Trace, and Jensen.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years Joyce, parents: James and Angela Shay, brother: James Shay, and sister: Patricia Halm.
His family was his greatest blessing. He made it known that his 3 daughters were his best friends. He was not only their best friend as well, but also their Hero. He was happiest when all of his family was together. His faith in God was unwavering and what saw him through any situation. His family takes comfort in knowing he is at peace and reunited with the love of his life. He will be forever missed.
At his request, there will be no service held.
