Ronald Lindsay

His siblings are Shirley Lindsay, Shyrill Brown, Madge Richards, Desmond Lindsay, Trevor Trail, Charles Trail, Winston Lindsay, Garnett Lindsay, Granville Lindsay, Syble Green, Linton Trail, and Linval Trail. 

Ronald served many roles including, that of a Medic in the Jamaica Defense Force. In his later years, he would often reflect upon this time that he served in helping care for patients. For a short while, he worked in a dry cleaning, and delivery service while in Jamaica. He finally worked as a skilled Orderly for many years at Lenox Hill Hospital, in Manhattan, NY.

He was known for his engaging character and unmistakable presence. You knew when he was in the room, and he always had a way of bringing a joke to the forefront of a conversation. 

He loved to cook and entertain. His curry dishes, and salads, were particularly delicious, and memorable to family and neighbors.

He resided lastly in Pembroke Pines, Florida for many years. He passed away on July 11th, 2022, after having had several chronic illnesses.

His children are Veronica Lindsay McGhie, Dale Lindsay, Donovan Lindsay, Suzette Lindsay Simms, Michele Lindsay, Suzanne Lindsay, Stacey Lindsay, Audrey Simone Lindsay-Lewis, Monique Adu, and Yolanda Patrice Lindsay. Suzette and Michele have passed on before. His family extends onwards to several grandchildren.

He will be remembered for his big personality, ability to engage with many, and his unforgettable sense of humor. May the Lord rest his soul.
