Rosecoe Silk Sr. & Mary L Silk

Mary was born in York, Pennsylvania to Florence and Lester Myers on December 7, 1937.  She went to school in York.  She married Roscoe Lawson Silk in 1953 in York, Pennsylvania. She was a loving wife and mother for many years. 

Mary is preceded in death by Her Spouse: Roscoe Lawson Silk, Her parents: Florence and Lester Meyers, Daughters: Susan C. Silk and Shirley A. Silk.  

Mary is survived by Children: Deborah S. Silk, Roscoe Jr. Silk, Daughter in Law: Holly Silk, Grandchildren: Desiree C. Neal and Roscoe Silk III, Great-grandchildren: Savannah Silk, Karissa Neal, Jaelyn Neal, and Donovan Neal

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held 7-9 PM February 28, 2024 at Fred Hunters. Arrangements are by Fred Hunters Funeral Home.

The family of Mary wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Chaplain Garry Gorden and Trustbridge, and so many who helped to provide the best care possible for her on her journey.

Roscoe Lawson Silk, 90, of Hollywood, Florida, passed away on January 9, 2024 in Hollywood, Florida.

Ross was born in York, Pennsylvania to John Silk and Hilda Stahl on July 25, 1933.  He went to school in York.  He married Mary Louise Myers in 1953 in York, Pennsylvania. He worked construction/maintenance throughout the years.  He had a love for hunting and fishing and enjoyed the outdoors.

Ross is preceded in death by Parents: John Silk and Hilda Stahl, Daughters: Susan C. Silk and Shirley A. Silk.  

Ross is survived by Children: Deborah S. Silk and Roscoe Jr. Silk, Daughter in Law: Holly Silk, Grandchildren: Desiree C. Neal and Roscoe Silk III, Great-grandchildren: Savannah Silk, Karissa Neal, Jaelyn Neal, and Donovan Neal
