Loving, kind, compassionate, accommodating, patient, and forgiving are only some adjectives that describe Ruby Mae Simmons. This beautiful gem was born on February 12, 1939, to Nathaniel and Lena Scott of Nassau, Bahamas. She was the sixth of seven children.

Ruby’s career path included Lane Bryant, Bell South, and the City of Hollywood Water Department. During her years of employment, she amassed friendships that lasted up to the time of her demise.
Ruby had many hobbies including sewing, traveling, reading, and fine dining. She loved spending time with her family and her friends, especially her only son Nate, and the love of her life William. Ruby was a devoted Christian. She served her God and was a faithful servant. She worshiped at Word of Life Fellowship Church for many years until her health began to decline.
