Shirley was born in the town of Aranguez, San Juan in the country of Trinidad West Indies to Bhola and Ivy Ram on March 14th 1949. She went to elementary school in San Juan and then attended high school at St. Charles Girls Convent in Tunapuna. She married Deodath Ramsaran on November 5th, 1970 in the town of Curepe and had three sons. She was a housewife and a homemaker.
Shirley is preceded in death by her parents Bhola and Ivy Ram, her sister Gloria Gobin and her brother Harry Ram.
Shirley is survived by her husband Deodath Ramsaran, her sons Syam Neal Ramsaran, Navin (Rishi) Ramsaran, Vishal Ramsaran, and daughter in law Sheri Ramsaran, her sister Beena Alexander, Vera Kalloo, and granddaughter Shivani Ramsaran.
Visitation will be at 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM for the viewing and ceremony will be from 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM on Tuesday, March 25th at Fred Hunter’s Funeral Home 6301 Taft St, Hollywood, FL 33024.
