

Ted was a devoted husband of 65 years to Annrita J. Mayer and a loving father to Mark T. Mayer and his wife Grethell I. Mayer. One of his greatest joys through the years was the love and companionship of all his pets. He will be remembered by his family and friends for his wit and sense of humor. His work ethic and integrity were unsurpassed. He is greatly missed.
Ted also is survived by his brother Frank C. Mayer, his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Rosemarie B. and John A. Karsten, his nephew Frank C. Mayer Jr., his nieces Karen M. Altman and Kathi A. Del Gaudio, his beloved cat Becky, and his extended family.
Ted graduated from Albany High School in 1951. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from SUNY at Albany in 1954, and his MBA from NYU Graduate School of Business Administration in 1959. He was a Certified Public Accountant, certified in Financial Forensics by AICPA/CFF, a member of the National Association Certified Valuation Analysts, and a member of the National Association Enrolled Agents for the IRS. He was a financial research analyst on Wall Street for many years and a CPA in public and private practice.
Ted served in the United States Army, assigned to the Army Security Agency at Fort Devens, Massachusetts from 1954 to 1956.
His final resting place will be at the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, Florida.
