I just saw this with sadness.  Vinnie was a childhood friend from the pioneer Cooper City days till then some.  What I remember  most about Vinnie was his athletic prowess and competitive spirit.  Name the sport and he was good at it.  Condolences to all the Haydocks.

Mr. Haddock was my teacher at St. Ambrose Catholic School 1983-1985, in Deerfield Beach, Florida. He also coached me as a quarterback for my girls powderpuff football team. I did an internet search to see where he was and saw his obituary. I'm so sorry for your loss. He had such an impact on my life. He was a great teacher and taught me so much. He used so many creative ways to teach his students. I'm so sad he's gone.

Still missing you just as much, maybe even a little more 

So sad to hear this news. Vince and I were football teammates at Nova Nigh School and became good friends our senior year before losing touch a few years later. 
 We had some memorable moments together, like the time we got caught in a rainstorm while driving an old Pontiac convertible that would go only 15 mph because of engine trouble. We just started singing rock songs and laughing our butts off the whole way. Or the time, after a few drinks, when we tried to scale a fence at Lockhart stadium to scout an opposing team. We got about halfway up when Vince, in an English accent, looked up at me and said, “I fear, my friend, we’ve lost our way. Let’s scale this fence another day!”
 Vince also liked to impersonate singers like Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra. He and I would shake our heads, furrow our brows and belt out songs like, “Everybody Loves Somebody sometimes.,” or “Tiny Bubbles in my wine. Make me feel happy, make me feel fine.”
 This may seem alien to those who knew Vince only as a flashy dresser and star high school and college football player, but he also had some struggles, which, as a long lost friend, I will not share. Suffice to say, he showed a lot of courage and strength and earned himself scholarship to Catawba College, where he excelled.
 As happens to most of us, we lost touch a few years later, but I always looked back at our time together in the early and mid-70s with a smile.

Vinny was a very good friend of my father and family creative I remember going there for dinner and he had this whole formula one race track he built in his garage and it was such a cool thing to see pray to you and your family 

I remember good times at Catawba College.  Great football team-mate and friend!  May God bless your family during this difficult time!

I'm so sorry for your loss.  I knew Vince in high school and had many fun times.  He was always happy and caring, and a good athlete.  My deepest condolences to his family.  Taken too soon from children and grandchildren I'm sure.  Prayers for comfort to you all.

R I P Vincent   I remember him from high school     he graduated with me from Nova High School in 71.   May his memory be eternal!  

This is Anthony Luongo, a classmate of Vince from St. Bernadette’s many years ago. I remember Vince as a happy, wonderfully gifted athletic kid.
