Vivian Alicia Horton

A Gathering will be from 11am – 1pm, Tuesday, Nov 1st, 2022, at Fred Hunters Funeral Service, 2401 S University Drive, Davie, Florida for her family, friends, and loved ones that she touched.

Funeral services will be held in Fort Valley, Georgia. The service will begin with a viewing on Friday November 4th, 2022, 9:30a.m. at CJ Edwards Funeral Home, 409 Preston Street, Fort Valley, Georgia 31030. The service will continue promptly at 10:00a.m with closed casket ceremony per her daughter’s wishes. Reverend Harold Snead (Brother-in-law) will be officiating. The Burial will follow at 11:30a.m in Willow Lake Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her parents and brother.

Vivian Alicia Williams was born in Fort Valley, GA to Eddie and Gloria Williams on October 17, 1967. She graduated from Peach County High School. Vivian then went to Fort Valley State University. She went on to become a licensed Cosmetologist shortly after. She gave birth to her daughter Vilicia Horton welcomed with then husband, Reginald Horton, in 1998. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in business from DePaul University. She later worked as an entrepreneur and business owner in several different professions. She was a loving, caring and selfless mother, friend, sister and daughter.

Vivian is preceded in death by her Mother, Gloria Williams, her Father, Eddie Williams, and Brother, Barney Williams.

Vivian is survived by her loving daughter, Vilicia Horton, Sister, Gracie Brice, Sister, Lena Snead – Harold, Sister, Katherine Woodson – James, Brother, Eddie Williams Jr – Gisela, Sister, Gloria Jean Wilcher – Alvin, Brother, Everett Williams – Kathy, Brother, Jerome Williams – Tiffany, Aunt in law, Linda Vanderhurst – Donnie, several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends that loved her.
