Donald Floyd Johnson, 81, of New Bloomfield, Missouri, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2014. Donnie was born August 13, 1933 in Pecatonica, Illinois, to Floyd and Agnes Dugginns Johnson, and they preceded him in death. He was married to Betti Hoppe on July 14, 1956, in Pecatonica and she survives. He was stationed in Germany while serving in the U.S. Army. He was a farmer all his life and also worked as a welder for many years at Delong's Manufacturing Company until his retirement. Donnie enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on his farm. He is also survived by brother, Gene Johnson of Winnebago, Illinois; sisters, Evelyn (Larry) Muchow of Winnebago and Dolores Butts of California, Missouri; and many nieces and nephews including nephew, Manfred Dreblow, and family of Germany. Donnie was also preceded in death by one brother, Edwin Johnson. Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2014, at the Callaway Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
