Edward Owen Robinett

A memorial visitation will be held from 4-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at Debo Funeral Home in Holts Summit, Missouri.

Eddie was born May 12, 1952 in Toppenish, Washington to Edgar and Lucille Malmberg Robinett and they preceded him in death. He was married to Debbie Colter on October 28, 1974 in Guthrie, Missouri.

Eddie was a 1970 graduate of Jefferson City High School and served in the U.S. Army at Ft. Polk, Louisiana from 1972-74. He then followed in his father’s footsteps and became a lifelong farmer.

He had been a member of Barkersville Christian Church in Tebbetts. While in the Army, Eddie was trained as a cook and because of that training, he was excellent at grilling and barbequing.

He loved to fish, hunt, and collect arrowheads and eagle statues, but his greatest love was spending time with his family.

Eddie is survived by his son, Jason Robinett of Tebbetts; daughter, Jamie Robinett of Jefferson City, Missouri; sister, Susan Klick of Jefferson City, Missouri; dearest friend, Marilyn Kinsley of Holts Summit, Missouri along with numerous other loving family members and friends.

He was also preceded in death by sister, Deloris “Dee” Moss and brothers, Herman “Bud” Robinett and Dewane “Edgar” Robinett.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Edward Robinett memorial fund which will help several different organizations.
