

Elizabeth (Libby) Britton Neale died on June 15, 2013 at the age of 87, at her home with members of her family present. A native of South Carolina, she had lived in Homestead, Florida for 60 years. From humble beginnings, she accomplished much while devoting her life to serving God, her family and her community. Libby's many hobbies and interests included traveling, playing bridge, growing orchids and following the stock market. She loved to cook for family, friends, church functions and those in need. She was a member of Speedway Community Church and Homestead Community Choir. She was a supporter of Daisy's Closet and a Director Emeritus of Homestead Community Concerts. Libby was preceded in death by her son Bob Neale. She is survived by her children Jeanne Worley (Paul), Jim Neale, Mary Blake (Preston), Marty Evans (Gary), Linda Speaker (Alan), Susan Neale, Barbara Mullen (Rick), 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held at Branam Funeral Home, 809 North Krome Ave., Homestead, FL on June 19 at 5:00 p.m., with visitation at 4:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
