Jerry Mickey Hobbs

Jerry Mickey Hobbs, 57, native of Miami, FL passed away at his home on June 30th 2012. He is survived by sons Jerry Mickey, Jr. and Clint Austin, their mother Carol and daughter Samantha Louise, son Denver Austin, their mother Karen; grandchildren, Clint Austin Hobbs, Jr, Gage Ethen Hobbs, Haley Ann Hobbs, Cadence Lyric Hobbs and Karen Gigi Olson. Also surviving is His brother, James Dee Hobbs (Gail), sisters, Joyce Ann Morgan (Jerry), Doris Charlotte Estell (Gene) and Debra Haney (Roger) and numerous nieces and nephews, too many to mention. Jerry also leaves behind an extended family, his beloved Rebecca Jones, her family and his faithful Companion ‘das Boots’. Preceded in death are, father, John Denver, mother, Vivian Ida, sister, Barbara and brother, Arnold. Jerry served in the United States Army and he lived his life “For God and Country”. He was a member of the American Legion John G. Salley Post 43 in Homestead and the L.O.O.M #2258 (LOYAL ORDER OF MOOSE) in Leisure City.

Memorial service will be Sat., July 14th 1:00 pm American Legion Post 43, located at 399 S. Krome Ave. Homestead, Florida 33030
