Valerie Elaine Brady

Valerie Elaine Brady, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida died Sunday, August 12, 2012 at Azalea Gardens Assisted Living, after a fight with congestive heart failure. Born in Kingston, Jamaica, May 7, 1938, Valerie was an avid reader and did very well in school. Even near the end when her mind was failing, she would talk about things that showed how insightful, keen and smart she was.

Valerie's life was her family which she always put first. She loved good food and especially good Jamaican food, even till the end.

Valerie is survived by her sons Richard, Michael, Christopher, Wayne and Sheldon; their significant others, Grace, Joe, Melissa, Stephanie, and Felicia; her brother Brook and sister Cherry; grandchildren Ryanne, Abaigeal, Tina, Spencer and Lee; and great grandchild Hailee.

The service will be August 25 - Saturday, 10:30am - Memorial Plan Kendall; 1:00pm - Inurnment will follow at Dade South Memorial Park.
