Ann Drennan Paul

Ann Drennan Paul, age 90 widow of Dr. Thomas O. Paul, Sr., died peacefully on February 3, 2012 in Birmingham. Born August 21, 1921 and raised in Arkansas, Ann lived most of her adult life in Birmingham. She married Thomas O. Paul in February 1942 and raised three children. She was predeceased by her parents, Jewel and Andrew Drennan; stepmother, Katherine Drennan and sister, Theida Mae Seiferd. She is survived by her children; Thomas O. Paul, Jr., William Gordon Paul (Jennifer) and Lisa Dexheimer; grandchildren, Thomas Paul Dexheimer and Drennan Morrison; great grandchildren, Tommy Morrison and Helen Morrison; nephews Charles Andrew, Richard, John and Joe Seiferd. She was an active member of Riverchase United Methodist Church and the Seekers Class. Tha family would like to especially thank caregivers, Willie McGhee and Deloris Bussey. Graveside services will be held at Elmwood Cemetery Monday, February 6, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. The family asked memorials be made to Riverchase United Methodist Church.
