Brian Meacham

April 5, 1974-August 6, 2016

Brian Leroy Meacham, age 42, was welcomed into the arms of his Mother in Heaven on Saturday, August 6, 2016. Brian was an amazing man. He loved deeply and quietly. Brian had a great amount of wisdom to share with those close to him. He loved to read about every topic you can imagine. Brian was amazing with both children and seniors. He could soothe a fussy baby instantly. Brian had a good soul. He wanted to help people however he could. Brian was a bright light in the world. He is gone too soon. He was a graduate of Homewood High School and worked at the Homewood Library, Alabama Power Company and later at the Homewood Senior Center. He was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church.

Brian is survived by his devoted Father, Leroy Meacham; his loving Sister, Meredith Meacham; Aunt, Angie Leo; Uncle, Rocky Leo (Lynne Jebeles); Aunt, Shirley Carpenter (Johnny); cousins, Roxanne Leo and Johnnie Crittenden (David). Brian was preceded in death by his loving mother, Fran Meacham. It is no doubt the two of them are enjoying having whole bodies and minds to begin this new chapter together. He is also preceded in death by his grandparents Michael and Mary Carbon Leo and Ed and Dot Hinch Meacham. Services will be held Saturday, August 20th at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church.

Visitation will begin at 10 AM. The Memorial Mass will follow at 11 AM.
