Cecil Wayne Cochran age 76 of Vestavia Hills, AL passed away Nov. 26, 2017. Wayne grew up in Sylacauga, AL and graduated from Fayetteville High School. Following high school he served in the U.S. Army serving in the Vietnam War and was a disabled veteran. He retired from UPS with 30 years of service and he was a loving husband, father, and friend to many.
Wayne is preceded in death by his parents John and Paralee Cochran and brother Roland Tyler.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Gayle Cochran, daughter Elizabeth Michelle Cochran, and Daisy his longtime faithful Labrador Retriever as well as many loving cousins.
There will be a graveside service for Wayne on Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2017 at 2:45 PM at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, Alabama
