Doris Bare Grove

Beloved wife, cherished mother and World’s Best Grandma, Doris Bare Grove, entered into our Father’s eternal home on October 23rd surrounded in love by her devoted husband of 59 years, Willis, and their three daughters, Wendy, Sheree, and Traci. Their families including six treasured grandchildren were with her in prayer and spirit. Will and Doris met in first grade and she was the love of his life for 73 wonderful years. Doris will be forever remembered for her kind heart, her giving spirit, and her spunky wit. She was a member of the Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church and Trinity Sunday School Class for over 45 years; a member of the Celebrations Singers, and the Mountain Oaks Garden Club. She leaves behind a lifetime of rich experiences and wonderful memories for her friends and family to celebrate. She will be missed beyond compare. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel at Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church on Saturday, November 2nd at 1:00pm with a visitation/reception following. Memorials may be sent in lieu of flowers to the Trinity Sunday School Class Outreach Program at Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church.
