Graveside service will be at the Alabama National Cemetery on March 19, 2015 at 2:00 p. m. Edward served in the U.S. Army during the Korean war. He was a graduate of Fairfield High School. Ed had a passion for life and a love for his friends and family. Ed was proceeded in death by his son Rick Naylor, his parents Bonnie and Edward Naylor Sr., and his two sisters Nell Cooper and Liz Cline.
He is survived by his eleven children; Stephen Naylor (Alex), Jennifer Freeman, Pat Naylor (Shannon), Robyn Stanhope (Tim), Kelly Wilson (David), Mike Naylor (Laura), Sally McSparen (Jeff Wood), Chris Naylor (Karen), Bonnie Lore (Vito), Becky Hoffman (Hunter), and Vicky Searcy (Brad). Ed had twenty three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
The family will be celebrating his life on Thursday, March 19th at 4:30 p.m. at Ranelli's Deli on Southside and also on Friday, March 20th at 6:00 p.m. at The Garage at 6:00 p.m. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
