Hayden James

Charles Hayden James, age 57, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 15, 2015. Hayden was the son of Mary Frazier James and the late Charles Ray James. He is survived by his wife, Dr. Carol Swindle and their group of five children; Andrew James, Benjamin James, Hayley James Radjabova, Sarah Swindle and Andrew Swindle. He leaves three siblings; Gail Posey (Stan), Michael James (Mimi), and Beth Hayden (John). Hayden is also survived by many loving relatives including aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, lots of cousins and also members of Dr. Carol's family. Hayden grew up in Jasper, Alabama and graduated from UAB. He worked in several industries including education, pharmaceuticals, and insurance. He was a wonderful son, father, husband and friend. He had a passion for exercise and healthy living and worked out almost every day. He was caring and unselfish and put the needs of everyone else above his own. His passing has left a huge void in the lives of so many, but we are thankful for his life and love. Services for Hayden will be held on Friday, December 18, 2015 at Johns Ridout Funeral Home on Oxmoor Road in Homewood, Alabama. Visitation is at 10:00 AM, and memorial service at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Walker Memory Gardens in Jasper, Alabama.
