Tex is survived by his wife Patricia Thorpe Hawley; sons: Michael Hawley and Jimmy Hawley (Allison); grandsons: Grant and Logan Hawley; brothers: Jay Payne (Donna), Eric Payne, Ted Payne (Beth) and Ed Payne (Kathy) and by his sisters: Carol Collier (Felton), Julia Wilkoff (Jay), Roanna Payne and Maureen Allen (Larry).
The family will receive friends at Ridout’s Valley Chapel on Sunday, March 13th from 5pm until 7pm. The Funeral service will be at Baptist Church of the Convent on Monday, March 14th at 6:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in memory of Tex may be made to Baptist Church of Convent Music Fund.
